Cobalt Smoky Eyes (feat. Lancôme Lumière)
Broke out a Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Eyes palette, DO4 Lumière D’Azur, for a quick smoky eye tutorial just to see how the colors would perform.
I didn’t actually follow any of the tutorials provided, but if you want to see looks that Lancôme recommends, feel free to check out the interactive site here!
My thought on this:
- Pigmentation level is very high overall, with the exception of the sparkle shade at the right, which is sorta expected.
- This isn’t a palette most people would get for daily wear, unless blues are a staple for you!
- I’d go easy on the cheeks and lips and keep them quite soft or neutral because if you use most of the colors in here, the look is VERY bright and intense.
P.S. You can also do this look with other Hypnôse palettes for slightly different effects. I also include more detailed descriptions of each shade below.
This is a metallic dark navy blue that reminds me of MAC’s Flashtrack.
This shade is a deep but bright cobalt blue. I don’t think it’s the same as MAC Freshwater but it’s somewhere in the same family.
